1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Lite Wallet (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Non-custodial wallet

Lite Wallet is a self-custodial (non-custodial) Litecoin wallet. Your private keys and recovery phrase are generated and stored only on your device. We do not hold, control, or have access to your keys, your recovery phrase, or your funds at any time.

3. Your recovery phrase is your responsibility

When you create a wallet, the App generates a secret recovery phrase (seed phrase). This phrase is the only way to restore access to your funds. You are solely responsible for keeping it secret and backed up offline.

• We cannot see, reset, or recover your recovery phrase.
• If you lose it, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone, including us.
• Never share it. We will never request it through support, email, or a website.

4. Assumption of risk

Cryptocurrency involves significant risk. You acknowledge and accept that:

• Litecoin (LTC) prices are volatile and its value may fall.
• Blockchain transactions are irreversible; a transaction sent to the wrong address cannot be undone.
• Loss, theft, or damage of your device, or loss of your recovery phrase, may result in permanent loss of funds.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or freedom from errors.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its providers shall not be liable for any loss of funds, data, profits, or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful activity, and you are responsible for complying with the laws and tax obligations that apply to you.

8. Privacy

The App is designed to minimize data collection. It does not require an account, email, or identity verification. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details on any diagnostic or network data.

9. Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
